At a hackathon programmers, developers and designers come together to work in teams to build solutions to cases provided by the organizer. It’s an intensive event over usually two or three days.

Students are given the oppertunity to participate in Hackathons as an extracurricular activity. The hackathons are arranged by either the department or by external organisations.

Sustainability and humanity in focus at C&SE Hackathon 2019

C&SE Hackathon 2019Between May 10 - 12 our students participated in the Computer & Software Engineering (C&SE) Hackathon 2019.

A total of 33 students got together in teams to work together to develop solutions under the themes of "sustainable and smart cities" and "coding for humanity".
