The Department is a dynamic research environment with several world renown research groups. We conduct research and education in many fields: algorithms, computer architecture, computer security, distributed systems, electronics design, formal methods, logic, networking, software technology, software engineering, language technology and reliable computer systems.
The Department is shared between Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, and offers a large range of courses on undergraduate and postgraduate levels at both universities.
